BEST Protein Date balls!


These protein balls are ideal for a post workout snack or to have as raw cereal for breakfast.

1 cup dried dates + ¾ cup raw almonds + ¼ cup hemp seeds + 2 tbs chia seeds
Blend all the ingredients in you’re food processor until combined well but not smooth (still chunky). At this point you could leave the date mixture as is and eat as a raw cereal, storing it in an air tight container in you’re refrigerator OR you can form cute little balls to take with you on the go or to gift to someone you love♥


What I love about these date balls is that you can give yourself the sugar fix you crave while still getting a huge amount of nutrition.

Dates are a good source of various vitamins and minerals. Its a good source of energy, sugar and fiber. Essential minerals such as calcium, iron, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, magnesium and zinc are found in dates.  It also contains vitamins such as thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folate, vitamin A and vitamin K.

Hemp Seeds are a complete protein. They have the most concentrated balance of proteins, essential fats, vitamins and enzymes combined with a relative absence of sugar, starches and saturated fats. Health benefits include : weight loss, increased and sustained energy, rapid recovery from disease or injury, lowered cholesterol and blood pressure, reduced inflammation, improvement in circulation and immune system as well as natural blood sugar control.

Chia seeds contain calcium, manganese, and phosphorus, and is a great source of healthy omega-3 fats. This plant grows natively in South America. Chia seeds were an important food for the Aztecs and Mayans back in the day. They prized them for their ability to provide sustainable energy… in fact, “chia” is the ancient Mayan word for “strength.”
